AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

At this seminar the participants will learn about the IAAF Worldwide Network Project, the use of the corresponding email system and will be informed about the required office equipment with special regard to the internet.

The seminar is specifically addressed to Federation personnel who primarily use the internet in his/her communication.

2.3 E-mail (Outlook, Outlook express etc..)

2.4 Antivirus (types, updates)

2.5 Free software (Acrobat reader etc..)

3. Outsourced services

3.1 What is outsourcing, why and what to outsource

4. Internet connection

4.1 Modems, routers, firewalls

· How to use the IAAF e-mail system
