首先进行的是三、四名之争，主题为“全才和专才哪个更适应社会竞争”Who is more suitable for the social competition, the all-round talents or specialized talents?；最后进行的是冠军之争，主题为“知足者常乐还是不知足者常乐”Who is happier, those who are contented or those who are not contented?
本次辩论赛由外语系教师做评委、外教John担任主席；校党委副书记书记李寿山、副校长何珍文及学生处处长申键莅临现场并对辩论赛给予了高度评价。
